During the winter, we often get snow and extremely poor weather in County Durham, which can obviously have an effect on sessions.
Whilst we try to run all sessions as scheduled, there may obviously be some short-notice changes. These will be communicated both on a case-by-case basis, as well as being posted to our Facebook page, facebook.com/mallarddays – please follow this page now for the latest updates.
If major changes occur, a banner showing a snowflake will also be placed on the front page of this website, giving details of any changes.
In the case of prolonged or expected poor weather, the following actions may be taken:
- sessions relocated to either Gilesgate (Durham) or Bowburn Community Association (Bowburn)
- sessions rescheduled to times with expected lower weather impact
- sessions cancelled (note: this has never happened so far!)
Please note that if you cancel a session due to poor weather, the session fee will not be refunded. Rescheduling is therefore highly recommended to effectively support your studies!
