It has stopped snowing in Durham
It is likely that all sessions will take place AS NORMAL, however sessions may be subject to delays.

Note: due to emergency repairs next door, there are a number of vans parked on The Moorlands.  I would therefore not recommend using the one-way section, and, if you are dropping off, to do so on the main road, and to walk through.
During snow conditions, sessions will continue to take place at 41 The Moorlands.  If you have an “external” session, you are welcome to travel to The Moorlands if you think that it is safe to do so.
If this not possible, it is also possible to change your session to an “Online” session.  To do this, please install and set up an account on the following software on your computer, and contact Richard by email at least an hour before your session:

As we’re quickly approaching exam season, it’s time to look ahead at the schedule for sessions during the next few months.

Please look at the table below to find out details of any changes to your sessions:

Arriva bus strike announced

Yesterday, Arriva North East drivers announced their intention to pursue strike action from 16 December to 22 December.

Although talks will take place between now and the date of the strike, we are aware that many residents in our area use Arriva buses (particularly the 64, 22 and 24) to go both to work and in to the city.

If you use / rely on these Arriva buses, I recommend making alternative plans NOW (be that allowing extra time to walk to work or your session, or arranging to car-share with a neighbour), so that should these strikes go ahead, you’re not caught out.

Additionally, I expect the traffic level on major roads to increase due to this strike action, especially during peak periods.  Please also allow extra time for your journey.

December and January booking update

Booking for sessions in December 2018 up to and including the first week in January 2019 will take place at your next session.

Please make sure that you have your schedule with you (including any school activities, concert performances, holidays etc.) to make sure that these bookings proceed smoothly, as I am aware that, due to Christmas, a lot of bookings may be made into unusual slots.

Sessions between Christmas and New Year

For the first time this year, due to popular demand, I will be running sessions between Christmas and New Year. These will take place on Thursday 27 December, and will be booked on a first-come-first-served basis.
