New Year updates

Happy 2016 to you all!
A few updates and news notes regarding tutoring in the next few weeks…

Richard’s availability and “flex days” until Easter has now been updated on the “Availability” page.
Richard is no longer taking on new students, however Vicky and Georgie (Durham), and Hannah (Bristol/online) are still offering sessions to new students.
In April, there may be some changes to the dates payments for sessions can be taken.  These details will be passed on as needed.
As we’re in Winter, some days may be adjusted due to adverse weather conditions.  Notification of these will be published on here, or on my Facebook page, facebook.com/mallard-days – which will include live tracking data for “at risk” days.

Finally, keep an eye on the website for events of interest in the next few months!

Lumiere is nearly here!

Lumiere is nearly here!
Alison and I have been busy coordinating everything for the event, and PQH fabrications, Bay Plastics and Hi-Lights are all working really hard to get all the components of our installation ready to go next week.
I hope you’re all as excited as I am to see Rainbow River in real life – I have everything crossed that the whole installation comes together correctly first time!

April update

Firstly, my apologies for not updating my website sooner: as you probably guessed, my students are my first priority, and their needs always take precedence over updating the website.  Don’t worry though, as “Science this week” will make a (permanent!) return in July.
Full for June exam season 2014
I’m pleased to be able to announce that I am no longer taking on students who are sitting exams in June 2014.  I am, however, still taking bookings for sessions from July onwards, (all the way across the Summer Holidays!), so if you are interested, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
Changes to schedule in April, May and June
Finally, for my existing pupils, there are a few days in the next three months where normal tuition sessions will not take place.  These are:

Saturday, 4 April
Monday, 21 April
Tuesday, 22 April (after 6pm)
Thursday, 15 May
Friday 16 May (until about midday)
Monday 26 May
Tuesday 27 May
Wednesday 28 May
Wednesday 25 June

If your sessions are affected by these changes, I will contact you in advance to rearrange them.

Schedule changes – February and March

Here’s a quick update of dates with changed schedules in February and March 2014 that have been confirmed:
February

Saturday, 15 February: No sessions after 5.30pm.

March

Saturday, 1 March: No sessions before 4pm (due to Radioactivity workshops).
Saturday, 8 March: No sessions after 5.30pm.
Monday, 10 March: No sessions before 4pm (rescheduled to Wednesday, 12 March or Monday, 17 March as appropriate).
Saturday, 15 March: No sessions all day (rescheduled to Sunday, 16 March as appropriate).
Friday, 21 March: No sessions after 5pm (rescheduled to earlier in the day, or Sunday 23 March as appropriate).

Should any further schedule changes be necessary, I will update this post.
