If Richard cannot currently offer a suitable tuition place, the options below may help you find an experienced independent tutor or other specialist support.
Independent tutors
Richard knows a number of experienced tutors who work independently and may sometimes be able to accept students whom Mallard Days cannot accommodate.

Availability and arrangements should be discussed directly with the individual tutor.
The tutors listed here operate independently and are not employed by or acting on behalf of Mallard Days Educational Services. Families should satisfy themselves that a tutor is suitable for their individual requirements.
Specialist Maths and Science tuition
PMT Education
PMT Education (Physics & Maths Tutor) is well known for its free revision resources and also operates an online one-to-one tutoring service covering Mathematics, Physics and other subjects.
Its tutoring service allows families to view individual tutors and their experience, subjects, levels, availability and fees.
A-level Physics support
A Level Physics Online
A Level Physics Online provides specialist Physics resources, videos and online classes.
It may be particularly useful for students who want additional structured A-level Physics support but do not necessarily require regular one-to-one tuition.
Find an independent tutor
If you would prefer to find and make arrangements directly with an independent tutor, the following services use a model closer to a traditional tutor directory.
TutorDex
TutorDex was established following the closure of First Tutors and uses a one-off introduction-fee model. Once an introduction has been made, tuition arrangements are made directly between the tutor and student or parent.
Tutorperch
Tutorperch is another UK directory of independent tutors. Students and parents can search and contact tutors before paying a one-off fee to exchange contact details.
Subsequent tuition arrangements are then made directly with the tutor.
Choosing a tutor
Whichever route you use, it is worth discussing your requirements with a prospective tutor before committing to regular sessions.
You may wish to ask about their experience with the relevant subject, level and examination board, how they approach tuition, their availability and fees, and appropriate safeguarding checks.
Mallard Days does not arrange or manage tuition provided through the organisations or independent tutors listed on this page. Any tuition agreement is made directly with the relevant tutor or provider.
